HISTORY
The Rogers Public Library opened on July 4, 1904 in a donated room above a business at First and Poplar Streets. The library moved to City Hall in 1931 and the city took over management in 1933. Through the efforts of Cass Hough, president of Daisy Manufacturing, the Rogers Public Library moved into the renovated 1917 post office building at 2nd and Poplar Streets in 1964. The library remained in the old post office building until 1994 when it moved to its current location at 711 S Dixieland Road.
