HISTORY
Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area covers 12,170 acres. It includes a 54-mile trail system and 11 primitive campsites. The land was purchased by the state from the estate of Roscoe Hobbs in 1979. The visitor’s center opened in 2009 with exhibits about the park’s natural resources and history. There is also an education pavilion near the visitor’s center.
